Hellobike Responds to Employee “Party” Photos

Recently, a photo of Hellobike employees has been circulating online, sparking heated discussions. The photo shows multiple people riding Hellobike bicycles, with a Qingju and Meituan bicycle lying on the ground in front of them. The group is collectively giving a thumbs-up. The photo is believed to have been posted by a Hellobike employee from a northern region.

According to Red Star News, Hellobike responded by stating that the behavior depicted in the photo does not align with the company’s values and does not represent the overall demeanor of its employees. An internal investigation has been launched. The company respects its industry partners and promotes a healthy and rational industry atmosphere.

SK Hynix Responds to Employee Bonus Rumors

Recently, there were rumors that SK Hynix employees in Korea would receive an average bonus of 610 million yuan. This rumor originated from a prediction by international investment bank Macquarie Securities. The bank believed that if SK Hynix’s 2027 operating profit reached 447 trillion won, and based on a 10% profit-sharing ratio and approximately 35,000 employees at the end of last year, the total bonus pool would be around 44.7 trillion won, with each employee receiving around 12.9 billion won, equivalent to 610 million yuan. On May 9, SK Hynix responded by stating that since this year’s and next year’s annual performance have not been determined, the bonus amount cannot be predicted. The company also stated that it has established a new system at the headquarters level, which allocates 10% of operating profit as a fund source for performance bonuses each year. “As AI semiconductor competition intensifies, talent has become a core competitive factor. To this end, the company is committed to attracting top talent with competitive compensation packages to maintain long-term competitiveness.”

ByteDance to Increase AI Infrastructure Spending to 200 Billion Yuan

On May 9, it was reported that ByteDance is increasing its investment in AI computing power and infrastructure, and will raise its capital expenditure plan for this year to over 200 billion yuan, a growth of more than 25% compared to the 160 billion yuan discussed at the end of last year.

The report stated that this increase is necessary due to the company’s growing investment in AI and the rising cost of memory chips, including support for domestic AI computing power.
