According to Omdia’s stats, in 2025, ZhiYuan shipped over 5,100 innovative general-purpose humanoid robots, ranking first globally and grabbing about 39% of the worldwide humanoid robot market. Per data from Zhuo Shi Consulting, by revenue in 2025 and Q1 2026, ZhiYuan is the largest general-purpose AI robot company on the planet. As of now, ZhiYuan’s product lineup covers wheeled, semi-humanoid, humanoid, and quadruped robots.
Amazon Upgrades Alexa+ AI Assistant with New Smart Agent Features
Amazon updated Alexa+ on July 24, giving its next-gen AI assistant a major boost. Alexa+ now supports natural conversations, remembers info, and handles tasks—helping you manage your schedule, summarize emails, generate podcasts, control smart home devices, and even do everyday stuff like shopping, booking restaurants, or hailing a ride.
With this update, Alexa+ adds a cool new feature: AI-generated personalized podcasts that create audio content based on your interests. It can also read files, photos, and documents you upload, then whip up summaries, Q&As, or even learning quizzes. Plus, by connecting to your calendar and email, Alexa+ can automatically create schedules and reminders.
On the smart home and consumer front, Alexa+ lets you create automation routines with voice commands, analyze Ring camera events, and manage household devices. It also integrates with shopping, music, Fire TV, and other ecosystem services, offering personalized recommendations and an AI-assisted shopping experience.
SoftBank Plans to Acquire Swiss AI Robotics Startup Gravis, Valuation Could Exceed $500 Million
On July 24, reports surfaced that Japan’s SoftBank Group is considering buying Swiss AI robotics startup Gravis Robotics AG, aiming to double down on embodied intelligence and AI tech that powers robots. Word is, SoftBank wants to build a big equity stake in the startup and bring it under its new AI and robotics entity, “Roze,” which is still being set up. The deal might roll out in phases—buying existing shares and injecting fresh cash over time—with Gravis potentially valued at over $500 million in the end. Right now, the final plan on deal size and structure isn’t locked in yet.
XPeng Humanoid Robot Officially Starts Small-Batch Trial Production
On July 24, per People’s Financial News, XPeng’s humanoid robot has officially kicked off small-batch trial production at its Guangzhou factory. At the same time, the mass production line is in its final joint debugging phase, with the countdown to full-scale production officially on. Previously, XPeng said it plans to mass-produce humanoid robots by 2026 and, starting in 2027, roll them out to XPeng stores and commercial spots worldwide, where they’ll work as guides and explainers. XPeng’s robot division is pulling together the company’s strengths in hardware, AI large models, supply chains, and marketing, while systematically reusing the company’s experience in software-hardware co-development, smart manufacturing, and global channels from its car business in the robotics field.
AMD’s Lisa Su: AI Accelerator Market Expected to Hit $1.4 Trillion by 2030
On July 24, AMD CEO Lisa Su said at the AMD Advancing AI conference that she expects the total addressable market for data center AI accelerators to reach $1.4 trillion by 2030, with a compound annual growth rate of 45% from 2025 to 2030.
Su also mentioned that the second-generation AI server Helios, which packs the MI455X AI accelerator and Venice processors, has entered full mass production and is expected to start shipping by the end of Q3.
