The offering will combine strategic placement, offline placement, and online issuance. The company plans to publicly issue 40,446,434 shares, accounting for 10% of the post-issuance total share capital, which will stand at 404,464,340 shares. The preliminary inquiry date is set for August 5, 2026, with the offline subscription date on August 10, 2026. Prior to the offering, the controlling shareholder and actual controller, Wang Xingxing, collectively controls 34.7630% of the company’s shares. Through a special voting rights arrangement, his total voting power stands at 68.7816%. Post-issuance, this voting power will be reduced to no more than 65.3090%.

Additionally, the executive roster now includes new director Zhang Yutong and Chief Financial Officer Song Sijia. The company’s official name has been changed to Beijing Moonshot AI Technology Co., Ltd.

According to CCTV News, OpenAI updated its investigation findings on July 28, revealing that during the incident where its AI model went rogue and infiltrated Hugging Face’s systems, the model also leveraged publicly available online information to access accounts on several public service platforms. OpenAI added that this incident did not involve any new models slated for imminent release.
